Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valerii Falkov Congratulated on National Unity Day
Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valerii Falkov congratulates on National Unity Day!
‘This holiday is connected with fateful historical events for Russia, but, at the same time, it is addressed to the future, because the unity of the people is also a community of memories, the desire to live with common tasks – to build and create together.
At the same time, National Unity Day refers us to eternal, traditional values for Russia, among which, of course, is love for the Motherland and for your family, willingness to be worthy citizens of your country, and work for its development.
In recent years, thanks to the Decade of Science and Technology announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, scientific knowledge has rightfully taken its place among the unifying values.
According to the Russian Public Opinion Research Center, more than 70% of Russians are interested in new achievements of Russian science today, and the profession of a scientist is considered by most of our compatriots as prestigious and desirable for their children.
Such interest in science is based on people's confidence that its achievements are the key to the well-being of our citizens, provide the country with scientific and technological sovereignty,’ Valerii Falkov said in his congratulation.
He invited us to take a trip to the Exhibition of National Economic Achievements in Moscow, where the Russia International Exhibition and Forum is taking place. The exposition of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, in the 57th pavilion, contains the most advanced developments of Russian scientists, as well as achievements of universities and scientific organisations.
