A landmark event of this academic year will be the celebration of the 100th anniversary since Saratov State University was named after N.G. Chernyshevsky. SSU bears the name of our countryman for a reason – Nikolay Chernyshevsky supported education and actively promoted the opening of a higher educational institution in his hometown.
