Dear friends, dear colleagues!
Today we are celebrating an important public holiday – Russia Day. This day symbolises the unity, beauty, and strength of our country. Each of us understands and loves Russia in their own way. But when we pronounce the name of our Fatherland, we remember our native piece of land where our childhood passed, places associated with the fun of youth and the bold impulses of youth. And, in fact, this is the right association, because Russia is a father's home for each of us.
Today, the word “patriotism” acquires a special value for everyone. Thanks to the centuries-old traditions of the Russian statehood, the ability to withstand difficulties, we make Russia a strong and prosperous country. Diligence and hard work help us fulfil the most difficult tasks.
The history of our country is unique, and, first of all, it is famous for people who explored and mastered new territories, were engaged in urban planning, created monuments of literature and art, made great discoveries in various fields of science, were pioneers and winners.
The researchers of Saratov University make their creative contribution to the development of Russian and world science, continuing the glorious traditions of their predecessors. Our priority is the development and strengthening of the region and the state.
These days, I would like to express words of special support to our brothers who continue to conduct a military special operation, to all those who are having a hard time today, and to whom we are always ready to help.
Dear colleagues and friends, I wish you success in all your endeavours aimed at the good of the Motherland, mutual understanding and consent to your families, happiness and well-being, health and success.
