Dear colleagues and students!

I congratulate you on the beginning of new academic year! Day of Knowledge is one of the most important holidays for academic community. It opens a new page in National Research Saratov State University history, starts a new stage in students’ lives.

Every year our university family welcomes new students and adds new ideas and projects. Teachers get back from holidays feeling well-rested and ready to share their knowledge and experience with the young.

I believe today’s first-year student have made the right choice entering SSU. The University gives everyone an opportunity to make their lives exciting. It provides higher educations and opens up an infinite world of opportunities – in science, arts, sport, etc.  Our students and staff prove it when they make their discoveries and innovations, receive grants and scholarships, won international competitions.

In this new academic year, I wish my university new achievements and victories! May our plans be proactive, initiatives – successful, diplomas – with honours.
