Students Day: Tatyanas of Saratov State University Speak about Studies and Teaching
Russian Students Day is celebrated on January 25. In honour of the holiday, a series of publications with Tatyanas, the members of the teaching staff and the students of SSU, was published on the media resources of Saratov State University.

Young Tatyans, who are studying at Saratov State University and plan to celebrate a double holiday today, told us about their achievements, funny stories from student life, and holiday traditions. To remind, this day (January 12, old style), Empress Elizabeth I signed a decree On the establishment of Moscow University in 1755. It is on this day that the holy Christian martyr Tatyana is honoured. It was celebrated as the day of all universities during the reign of Nicholas I. In modern Russia, the holiday has been revived. Students celebrate Students Day and Tatianas Day heartily and wait for the end of the exams. Besides, on January 25, 2000, the grand opening of SSU Bldg. 10 took place.
