Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valerii Falkov Congratulated Professors on Professional Holiday

Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valerii Falkov has congratulated the professors on their professional holiday.

‘Dear colleagues and friends!

Today, we celebrate Professors’ Day!

This is still a young, but already well-known professional holiday. It is celebrated not only by professors, but also by many of those who keep gratitude to their mentors in their hearts.

Keeping the tradition alive is like keeping the fire going. And the professor's mission is precisely in this. In ensuring the continuity of generations, in preserving scientific schools, in training their students, sharing professional experience, wisdom, high ethical principles with them, as well as in strengthening the unity of our country at the cultural and value levels.

With timely advice, care, their own example, their intellectual honesty and striving for knowledge, you set high standards for millions of young people, help them discover their talents, and find a way in life.

It is you – in classrooms, educational laboratories, at lectures and seminars, who are shaping the future of our country, its technological leadership, day by day.

You understand better than others that teaching is very difficult. Not everyone can be a good professor. You must have great mental strength, broad knowledge, and high professionalism. Therefore, at all times teaching has been and remains honourable.

Dear friends! I congratulate you on the holiday! I hope you will have worthy students, gain new personal professional victories, and get creative inspiration in your work! Be healthy and happy!’ Valerii Falkov said in his congratulatory speech.
