On October 21, Saratov State University hosted the closing of the anniversary labour term of student brigades of Saratov Region. The ceremony was attended by Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Organisational Work Anton Golovchenko and Chair of the Saratov Region Youth Policy Committee Angelina Belovitskaya. The hosts of the event were the members of the student brigades Diana Mingazova and Alexander Chizhov.

‘This season has been full of vivid impressions and emotions that the students have received on virgin land. They spent the whole summer practicing their skills and gaining experience in various areas – construction, pedagogy, medicine, tourism, in the teams of train conductors. Everyone contributed to the common goal – the development of the RSB,’ the host of the event said.

Student brigades have been employing young people and contributing to their civic and patriotic education, as well as developing creative potential of their members for ten years.

Chair of the Saratov regional branch of the RSB Anton Golovchenko congratulated the members on the ending of the season, which became a platform for personal growth and improvement of their competencies. ‘I hope you will not stop there, but set new goals and objectives. Only by moving forward, we can improve and reach great heights. There are many bright events ahead. Surely, next year will be even more productive and memorable for you,’ Anton Golovchenko addressed the students.

On behalf of the Ministry, Chair of the Saratov Region Youth Policy Committee Angelina Belovitskaya addressed the participants of the student brigades and expressed gratitude. ‘You are not only developing, but also contributing to the development of the regions. Now, it is the time when you are developing professional skills, expanding the horizons of thinking, and using new opportunities. Your activity is of particular importance to us, and we are ready to support all your initiatives.’

During the ceremony, the participants of the movement received letters of appreciation for their active contribution to the development of student brigades of the region, achievements, and the help to residents of the PRL and PRD as part of the Peaceful Landing project.

‘The season has been closed, but we are opening the year with new impressions, ideas, and projects. Thanks each of you, all of you have gained tremendous experience and found something important for yourself, Sergei Kulik, the commander of the Headquarters of Student Brigades, addressed his colleagues.

As part of the festive ceremony, the members of the student brigades performed on stage, and the audience was shown bright moments from the working days of the movement activists in the video.
