‘Since the first day of the forum entitled The Science of the Future – the Science of the Young, I have been actively involved in the work. Once in the literature capital of Russia – in Orel, I was caught up by a wave of journalistic excitement and desire for knowledge. I was interested in everything – the speeches of foreign scientists at the plenary sessions, lectures, and master classes. But most of all, I remember the literature evening dedicated to the work of Ivan Turgenev. I am grateful to the organisers of the forum and the competition, the programme committee for interesting events, the Director of Communications of the National Centre for Physics and Mathematics Raifa Bitkova for editorial work, and the Orel for a warm welcome,’ Aelita Ponomaryova shared her impressions.

The MEDIACODE contest was held as part of the programme of the Popularisation of Science and Technology federal project and the Decade of Science and Technology supported by the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science. 175 applications were submitted for the competition of students and media centres of universities. 22 participants from different Russian regions participated in the finals.
