Young Researchers Awarded for Scientific Interests at Final Student Conference
On May 22, the final plenary session of the student scientific conference was held in Bldg. 10 of Saratov State University.
The moderator was Head of the Office of Research Olga Moskalenko. She pointed out that the event was timed to the Year of Teachers and Mentors.
‘This year, the student scientific conference is dedicated to the Year of Teachers and Mentors. It was gratifying to see the performances of students who, in their reports, touched upon the issues of pedagogy and education, drawing attention to such important topics as bullying in the adolescent environment, the identification of dyslexia in school and preschool children, patriotic education in schools. The students presented a large number of interesting studies that have every chance of becoming successful projects in the future,’ she said.
Olga Moskalenko introduced the members of the Presidium. It included representatives of various scientific fields: Deputy Head for Organisational Work of the Research-to-Medicine Centre, Head of the Smart Sleep Laboratory, Associate Professor of the Department of Radiophysics and Nonlinear Dynamics Andrei Slepnev; Deputy Head for Innovation of the Research-to-Medicine Centre, Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Biomedical Photoacoustics, Associate Professor of the Department of Materials Science, Technology, and Quality Management Olga Inozemtseva; Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry Arsenii Ushakov; Chair of the Department of Meteorology and Climatology Maksim Chervyakov; and Chair of the Department of Theoretical and Social Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Theology and Religious Studies Sergei Danilov.
The final conference featured reports that were recognized as the best at the breakout sessions of the institute and faculty conferences. The students' research works were devoted to pedagogy, painting, developments in the fields of IT, instrumentation, as well as economics, medicine, psychology, geology, defectology, botany and journalism. These works are the first steps of young researchers into science.
At the end of the event, the presidium presented the participants of the scientific event with memorable prizes and certificates confirming their unconditional victory in the SSU Student Scientific Conference. The 2023 winners were a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Law Sergei Zagurnii and a 2nd-year master degree student of the same faculty Damir Nizamov, a 4th-year student of the Institute of History and International Relations Maria Chevtayeva, , a 2nd-year student of the Institute of Arts Alexandra Pupina, a 2nd-year master degree student of the Institute of Physics Ivan Chistyakov, a 2nd-year master degree student of Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technologies Tatyana Balashova, a 2nd-year master degree student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics Olga Zadvornaya, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Geography Anton Cheresov, a 3rd-year student of the Institute of Chemistry Daria Pridankina, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Philosophy Alexander Skovorodko, a 1st-year master degree student of the Faculty of Economics Anna Melkumyan, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Sociology Lyubov Geliverya, a 1st-year master degree student of the Faculty of Psychology Valeria Lebedeva, a 4th-year student of Balashov Institute Ekaterina Vershkova, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Geology Nikita Kravtsov, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical, and Special Needs Education Ekaterina Sladkova, a 1st-year master degree student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Language Teaching Methods Arina Popp, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Biology Natalia Kondyurina, a 4th-year student of the Institute of Philology and Journalism Aelita Ponomareva, a 4th-year student of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training Anastasia Kucherenko, and a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and Medical Technologies Elizaveta Dubinkina.
Every year, the student scientific conference is held in order to attract young researchers, entrepreneurs to research, as well as to encourage them to carry out research.
At the end of the conference, the collection of research papers will be published.
