The SSU federal innovation site – The Centre for Research-to-Methodology Support of Young Teachers – was highly appreciated by experts over the past 2022. Following the results of the meeting of the Coordinating Body on the formation and functioning of the innovation infrastructure in the field of higher and related additional professional education, it was decided to extend the status of the FIS to Saratov University in 2023.
The status of the federal innovation site was given to the university based on the results of the All-Russian competitive selection in 2021. Developed by a team of university experts led by Professor, Head of Priority Projects and Programmes Elena Yelina, the Centre for Research-to-Methodology Support of Young Teachers five-year project received support.
The work of the federal innovation site is connected with the implementation of the Teachers in the Educational Paradigm fifth strategic project under the Priority 2030 programme. The project is aimed at supporting teachers starting their professional activities and students taking pedagogical courses.
The connecting link in this process are undergraduates and postgraduates of SSU, most of whom have already been included in the practice of teaching, and the strategic core is schools in which the basic departments of the university successfully work and cooperation is carried out through the supervision of the basic schools of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
