Saratov State University sport club was founded on 23 September, 2009.
Sport Club carries sport and fitness work with students and university faculty and staff. There are 33 section including Futsal, basketball, volleyball, karate, darts, table tennis, aerobics, fencing, handball, chess, swimming, cheerleading and others.
Every year SSU hosts spartakiads among students and university faculty and staff.
