President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander M. Sergeyev congratulated SSU on its 110^th anniversary.

In his congratulatory address Alexander Sergeyev marked that the academy closely cooperated with SSU.

‘The university works in close partnership with Saratov Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other academic departments. Having become a national research university, SSU has proved its high scientific potential on the federal level and become the centre of the fundamental and applied research in priority fields,’ wrote the President.

President of RAS especially pointed out SSU victories in the country and the world.

‘Saratov University has been improving the quality of higher education for many decades, and it has been recognised and highly evaluated on the state level. Together with you we are proud that SSU specialists have shown great results outside the country as well as the university student teams win programming championships.’

He wished that SSU professors, members of the staff, students, postgraduates, and graduates would stay healthy and creative, always strive for new goals scale new heights, and have bold ideas and solutions.
