SSU Started Organisational Psychology: People and Risks International Conference

The XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Organizational Psychology: People and risks" is being held at Saratov University. On the day of its opening, on April 25, an online seminar "Systematic interventions that promote team development" was held, which was conducted by the author and moderator of the seminar, Professor of Stockholm University, Dr. Annika Lanz Friedrich. The seminar was attended by graduate students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Psychology of SSU, Dagestan State University and Nizhny Novgorod University named after N.I. Lobachevsky.

The seminar was held in English. It discussed issues of improving the effectiveness of teamwork, the conditions for its high adaptability to new tasks, a supportive psychological climate, the formation of a common vision of goals, and the exchange of knowledge within the team.

Dr. A. Lanz Friedrich spoke about typical problems in team interaction, such as suboptimal composition, lack of coordinated actions, conflicts and others. The Swedish colleague gave the seminar participants valuable tips on diagnosing problems in the process of interaction and recommended modern techniques. She spoke about her own successfully implemented projects and about the patterns of the cycle of effective consulting of organizations on the formation of effective teamwork. The participants of the event were interested in questions about the security climate and the role of the head in its formation, about the features of virtual teams and the specifics of remote work.

A series of online events has started within the framework of the XI International Conference. The coming week will be devoted to the work of scientific discussions on the conference website.
