Dear students of Saratov State University!
I congratulate you on Russian Students Day, Tatyanas Day!
This day has been an integral part of student life for almost three centuries. It was on Tatianas Day, January 25, in 1755, Empress Elizabeth I signed a decree On the establishment of Moscow University and Tatyanas Day became the official university day. At that time, it was called the Founding Day of Moscow University.
Saratov is rightfully considered a student city – over 80 thousand young people are studying in our universities and colleges, including more than 19 thousand of them in Saratov State University.
We are proud of the achievements of our youth, their achievements, innovative approaches, and creative ideas. Grant support was provided to youth events unique to the university and the region, developed, and organised by SSU activists – the 8th PRO100 All-Russian Student Forum, the Create marathon, the 1st Mediawave District Media School of Volga Federal District, an ecotour along the Khoper River, and others.
Dear friends, have a busy student life, get inspiration, as well as experience bright moments and resounding victories! Be the best in your profession, believe in yourself, dare, create!
Students Day is a holiday for all teaching staff. Our professors successfully combine in their work the methods of education and mentoring, as well as personal development of each student. Be successful in this difficult task! And on this wonderful day, I congratulate all the students of the University named Tatyana and wish them all the best!
