The SSU United Council of Students has begun collecting humanitarian aid for the residents evacuated to Russia from the People's Republic of Donetsk and the People's Republic of Lugansk.

‘Holding such an event in our university is of great social importance. Mutual assistance and support in a difficult life situation is especially important and significant for all categories of citizens who find themselves in difficult living conditions,’ Svyatoslav Lichmanov says, a student of the Faculty of Geology, a volunteer at the SSU Volunteer Headquarters.
Diana Savinova, a student of the Faculty of Law and commander of the Law and Order detachment, is sure that in the current situation everyone should show their civic position and help their compatriots.
You can bring to the receiving centre:
- dried baby food (mixtures);
- food products (tea, sugar, flour, cereals, canned food);
- personal care products (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, wet wipes, baby diapers);
- towels;
- stationery and children's toys.
Everything necessary for the compatriots will be transferred to the regional public receiving departments of the United Russia party.
