On February, 28^th in Gorki-9, the Chairman of the Government D.A. Medvedev held a meeting on the Foundation for Prospective Studies cooperation with scientific and technological organizations. Cabinet ministers, department representatives, leading scientific and education organizations representatives attended the meeting.

D.A. Medvedev welcomed everyone and said the Foundation has to work closely with all interested parties (e.g. ordering customers, defense contractors, business companies, and the Russian Academy of Science institutions), the Russian Scientific Fund, universities, and leading research groups.

The Foundation for Prospective Studies CEO A.I. Grigoriev presented his report, Minister of Education and Science D.V. Livanov, Russian Academy of Science President V.E. Fortov and representatives of other Foundation partners also spoke.

SSU President Prof. L.Yu. Kossovich spoke about Saratov State University innovative work on ultra-thin nonwoven fabrics. This is an example of close cooperation between the Foundation for Prospective Studies and national universities that represent Russian Ministry of Education and Science. He also said that Saratov University is ready to start production of the new fabric material.
