Saratov State University and Ankara University broaden their collaboration

SSU delegation headed by President L.Yu. Kossovich visited Ankara University (Turkey). This visit is an important step in the development of relationships between universities in 2013.

The delegation consisted of SSU representatives in the following areas: linguistics, Turkish and Russian languages; archeology; technopark; electrical engineering and radio electronics; energy and nanotechnologies; health and medical equipment. During negotiations and business meetings the representatives have reached certain agreements on future collaboration development in the above mentioned areas.

As a result on Dec., 10, President L. Yu. Kossovich and Rector Prof. E. Ibish signed “the announcement on future development in collaboration areas between Saratov State University and Ankara University”.

The parties have agreed to work out detailed plans for future collaboration in 6 areas and exchange the approved plans before Feb. 28, 2014.

Collaboration between universities in research and education is an important part of their international work. Today SSU is a strategic partner of Ankara University in Turkish Republic. Since 2007 the relations between universities have grown into a stable partnership.
