On the eve of the New Year, the Wish Christmas Tree charity event is taking place all over the country. The coordinator of the All-Russian marathon is the regional branch of the Movement of the First in Saratov Region.

This year, SSU Rector Alexei Chumachenko, visited the role of a magician, he handed a long-awaited gift to a schoolgirl from Saratov, Kira Khabiyeva, a bicycle. The rector wished the young athlete successful starts, and her family well-being and a happy New Year.

‘The Wish tree is an opportunity to fulfill someone's cherished dream and give faith in miracles. This is especially needed by children, for whom the time of the New Year is associated with a fairy tale and magic,’ Alexei Chumachenko said.

The Wish Christmas Tree project has been held since 2018 in the Russian Federation and unites thousands of people who are ready to do good deeds. The main purpose of the campaign is to make the wishes of children who need special support come true.
