The gala concert of the winter stage of the Student Spring featured the best performances from a series of presented programs of the festival. On the stage of the Assembly Hall, Bldg. 10, a creative confrontation between the faculties and institutes of Saratov State University unfolded as of a radio battle.
Alexander Yefimov, Deputy Director of the SSU Student Club, greeted the young people gathered in the hall and loyal fans of the creativity and talent competition of all ages. ‘Thank you for investing in the Student Spring. When eyes, hearts and... deadlines are burning, it is a great experience that helps many people in life, teaches communication, stress tolerance and multitasking. There's a phrase written on my hoodie that speaks for itself, ‘We did not graduate from the GITIS, we finished the Student Spring’.’
According to the script, the host of the Divine Podcast, played by Umar Dashayev (the College of Radioelectronics), and the author of the podcast Notes of the Arts Director, played by Mikhail Vinogradov (Arts Director of the Student Club), argue who should take the place at the microphone. In a creative quarrel, they announce the start of a new radio marathon, in which the podcast author evaluates the concerts of the faculties and the institutes. The Faculty of Philosophy, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technologies are the first to go to the analysis.
In the first act, newly minted vampires Nikita Krivosheyev and Vladislav Kovalenko enter the 2023 Miss and Mr. Vampirism 2023 contest. They are greeted by Vitalii Ageyenkov in the role of Miss vampirism Bella. The students of the faculties compete with the heroes in the dance direction, the action replaces the fashion show of the Fashion Theatre. The winners of the competition “horror, talent, and Inquisition” are Mikhail Makhortov and Bella Ageyenkova.
The concert is interrupted by a new quarrel between the “divine” podcaster and the author. Mikhail Vinogradov evaluates the concerts of the Institute of Arts, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Language Teaching Methods, the Faculty of Psychology, the Institute of History and International Relations, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics.
The second part of the gala concert takes place in the courtyard of a panel house. A trio of students knocks out a carpet on which quarrels, reconciliations, incendiary dances and vocal performances, a dance battle take place. Alexander Vaitsul, Kristina Zubkova, Karina Utaliyeva, Nvokocha Revs Chukvudi, Irina Plotnikova, Semyon Katyshev, and others appear on the stage.
The following review covers the concerts of international students, the Institute of Chemistry and the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and Medical Technologies, the Faculty of Sociology, and the Institute of Sports and Physical Training, the Faculty of Geography, the Institute of Philology and Journalism, and the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical, and Special Needs Education.
The Institute of Physics summarizes the series of concerts. The leitmotif of the performance is the song Valenki in various performances and arrangements. They are doing repairs under it, going on a date and even steaming in the bath.
Director of the Student Club Mark Pinkhasik congratulated all the participants of the concert in the final. He, together with Head of the Psychological Support Service, SSU, Natalia Sergeyeva, awarded the winners of the Student Competition.
A special prize was awarded to the first independent program of international students Babylon in the history of SSU, organised by the International Service, SSU. It was the rap in French by Tchorue Ozniel that opened the concert of the gala concert.
The third place was shared by two concerts – the Institute of Arts and the joint team of the Faculty of Sociology and the Institute of Sports and Physical Training. The second place was taken by students from the Faculty of Psychology, the Institute of Chemistry and the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and Medical Technologies. The first place was taken by the concert of the Institute of Philology and Journalism and the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical, and Special Needs Education. The Grand Prix of the festival was taken by the Institute of Physics.

The bright final chord of the evening was the performance of the SSU singers.
