On March 25, a meeting with a famous TV-presenter Arina Sharapova took place in the Assembly Hall, Bldg. 10. Then leading journalists, political scientists, psychologists and experts gave thematic lectures.

On Saturday, the assembly hall was filled with people: students, employees of Saratov University, schoolchildren and residents of the city gathered. Each of them came to meet with A.A. Sharapova and listen to the speakers' speeches on the topic "Modern socio-political technologies for mental security".

A.A. Sharapova was introduced by SSU Rector Aleksei Chumachenko. The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Igor Malinskii, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Organisational Work Anton Golovchenko, Vice-Rector for Secondary Vocational Education and Social Work Olga Nesterova, and Vice-Rector for International Affairs Dmitrii Konakov. The guests of the event were the head of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation D.E. Pokrovsky, deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Yu.N. Drozhzhina, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the Saratov region O.A. Opening the meeting, A.N. Chumachenko expressed gratitude to A.A. Sharapova for coming to Saratov again with her project. Alexey Nikolaevich emphasized the relevance of the selected topics: "The modern flow of information is so vast that it is difficult for absolutely everyone to understand it. Plus, there is a lot of negativity in this stream, which goes beyond all permissible limits. I can imagine how hard it is for our guys, students, to figure this out. There are two ways out of this situation: either to pass by this information, or to understand how to deal with this information. The lectures that our guests will give us today will help us figure this out," Alexey Nikolaevich said.

The head of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, D.E. Pokrovsky, also addressed the audience in the hall. Dmitry Evgenievich thanked the Rector of SSU A.N. Chumachenko and Saratov University for organizing the event and explained the need for a course of thematic lectures on mental security.

"Our goal is for a university student, in addition to becoming a professional in the industry he chose, to become a citizen of his country, love it, want to live here, develop, create a family, work for the good of the country and at the same time feel comfortable. And today, when the flow of information is so large and literally overwhelms students, schoolchildren, it is very difficult to maintain a balance. In addition, there are a lot of temptations now, attempts to lead the guys away from the right path. The topics of today's lectures are relevant. We must teach our youth to navigate the flow of information," D. E. Pokrovsky said.

The chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education of the Saratov region, the chief psychologist of the Ministry of Education in the Saratov Region and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Mari El S.V. Saratovsky also addressed the audience. He expressed the hope that the course of thematic lectures will be of great benefit both for work and for study.

After that, the author of the Art Media Education project, A.A. Sharapova, took the stage. Arina Ayanovna addressed the audience with the words: "The Saratov land is the land that is ready to love the Motherland, to teach others to love our country, because the ability to love is an art. My parents have always said that they love our Homeland, and today people don't even say such words. Our main value is the ability to smile and say: "I love you, Motherland!". And today our goal is to tell you about how our Homeland is being destroyed, how we get caught in the network of information sabotage."

The first speaker of the lecture day was the Russian publicist, teacher, political scientist, head of the Center for Political Information A.A. Mukhin. Alexey Alekseevich gave a lecture on the topic: "Modern socio-political technologies for ensuring mental security of the Russian Federation".
