On Thursday, December 1,  the results of Best Mechanical Engineer of Saratov Region 2016 contest were summed up and award ceremony were held in the Regional Government building. The event gathered the participants, organizers, members of expert council and jury, heads of the machine building companies.

 

The Minister of Industry and Energy of Saratov Region M.L. Shikhalov, Deputy Minister, Head of the Office of Professional Education Development and Organizational Work I.V. Sedova, SSU Rector A.N. Chumachenko, CEO of  NPP Almaz AO, Head of Saratov regional division of Russian Union of Mechanical Engineers N.A. Bushuyev.

 

After the greetings Minister M.L. Shikhalov presented awards to the organizers – SSU Rector A.N. Chumachenko, SSU Vice-Rector for Educational and Organizational Work I.G. Malinsky, Principal of P.N. Yablochkov Radioelectronics College V.A. Tashpekov and others.

 

Vice-Principal for Educational Work of Radioelectronics College I.N. Tolmachova has been personally thanked by the Ministry of Industry and Energy.

 

Then the winners of main and additional nominations were awarded prizes. The winner of Design Engineering in CAD nomination became the 3-year student of SSU Radioelectronics College Maksim Lavrukhin. 

 

Student of SSU Radioelectronics College Ilya Gorshkov and Dmitry Khalzov were awarded with For Professional Use of Kompas Software certificates.

 

In the end of the ceremony M.L. Shikhalov said a few words to the participants and organizers mentioning the ever rising-demand for engineers that was proved by the contest.

 The contest started on November 29 with the opening ceremony having been held in Saratov University.  28 design engineers, programmers, technologists of machine building enterprises and 20 students from universities, colleges and Engels Technical School participated in the event. The contest was organized by P.N. Yablochkov Radioelectronics College.
