Saratov National Research State University occupies the 196th position in Times Higher Education Rankings. 300 universities from 41 countries have participated in THE 2017 research (TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION BRICS & EMERGING ECONOMIES UNIVERSITY RANKINGS 2017). There has been 100 more participants than last year.

 

The ranking is based on the same 13 criteria as THE World University Rankings. In September, SSU was first included into the list of the world’s best universities, in 801+ category. The performance indicators considered by experts cover five areas of activity: teaching, research (amount, income and reputation), citations,  international outlook (staff, students and research) and industry income (knowledge transfer).

 

THE BRICS & Emerging Economies research was published on November 30. The rankings includes 24 Russian universities among which the highest position – line 3 – is taken by M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Line 1 is occupied by Peking University.
