Regional KVN league final took place at the Slonov Drama Theatre on December, 21. Eight teams played: “SSU Team” and “Hollywood” represented Saratov State University, “Polytech Team” represented Penza, “High Five” represented SSTU, “Irina Sheik KVN Team” represented Stolypin Institute, “And Cut” and “Clique” represented SSAL, and “Page 14” represented “Institute of Family”.

Students showed their inventiveness and humor in “Greetings”, “Biathlon” and “Finale” that had a free form. The hosts Oleg Titov and Aleksandr Babin set only one condition – “It should be funny”. The teams were judged by an expert jury that included KVN players of different years: Anton Atanov, Anton Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Zhelezniakov, Sergey Biryukov and Dmitry Bolshakov.

After the “Greetings” two teams got ahead of others – “High Five” and “SSU Team”, but “Clique” won the “Biathlon”. “SSU Team” was the best in “Finale” with a New Year routine. “SSU Team” includes Mikhail Vinogradov, Anna Tikhomirova, Aleksandr Filatov, German Alekseev, Dmitry Kazin, Oleg Kachkovsky, Ilya Pavlov and Dmitry Pur. The team members prepared carefully and were very nervous before the final game.

The “Clique” team won the second place; “High Five” became third.

All teams gave a great performance with hot humor and witty comments on economic crisis and miniatures about “Star Wars” and New Year.

The participants received medals and certificates at the award ceremony.
