I Like It TV Project – Best in Ranking of Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education
There has been released the January media ranking of the student media of Russian universities. The channel of the I Like It SSU student TV project on the Rutube video hosting has taken the first position.
The Rutube channel is led by the head of I Like IT, Vice-Director for Organisational Work and Public Relations at the Institute of Philology and Journalism Roman Pavlenko, the editor-in-chief of the TV project Valeria Agadzhanova, the deputy editor-in-chief Arina Kuzina, and the content editor Polina Tsybenko.
On the video hosting, the project shows the stories that are included in the issues of I Like IT. There, the students talk about what the youth of Saratov Region is interested in – about interesting people, bright places, and amazing phenomena.
For 11 years, the students, as well as the staff of the Film Studio and the Educational Television Centre at the Institute of Philology and Journalism have been working in the I Like It project. The team members – correspondents, editors, cameramen, presenters, as well as content editors – annually take part in international and all-Russian contests of student videos, such as Student TEFI, Mediaconquest, Gagarin. doc, Time Code, and others.
The issues of I Like It, which are dedicated to the events in the university and the region, are shown by the Russia 24 TV channel (Saratov) on Wednesdays at 8.15 a.m.
To remind, the SSU TV project has already become the leader of the media ranking of student media of Russian universities in November and December 2022 and in February and August 2023. In April, May, October, and November 2023, the TV project was among the TOP-3 best media projects.
