The Sweet Milk student magazine and the multimedia project of graduates of the Institute of Philology and Journalism have become the finalists of the TIME CODE All-Russian Festival of Youth Journalism.
The December issue of Sweet Milk was included into the short-list of the contest in the Magazine category. It is dedicated to the exam time – from the advice of young scientists to motivational postcards. In total, thirteen youth magazines from different cities were announced in the nomination -Saratov, Moscow, Tver, Novosibirsk, and Ekaterinburg.
The Student Spring: Mission is (Im)Possible longread was chosen as one of the finalists in the Multimedia Story nomination. The following graduates of the Institute of Philology and Journalism created the competition material – Victoria Weinberger, Vitalii Ageyenkov, Polina Gromova, Oleg Trushkin, and Vladimir Sytko. The students were supervised by Assistant of the Department of Literary Studies and Journalism Elizaveta Syagina as part of the professional and creative workshop.
In total, more than 600 applications were submitted to the competition, 520 of them were chosen at the qualifying stage.
The TIME CODE finals will take place on October 28 in Ekaterinburg. The participants are to attend the workshops, master classes and lectures by well-known journalists of the country.
