Exactly 4 years ago, a completely new unit appeared at Saratov State University – the SSU Boiling Point Centre.
The Boiling Point Centre is a place of collective work designed to promote the implementation of the National Technological Initiative and the development of the economy of the future. It unites various communities of students, teaching staff, businessmen, city administration, and NTI experts.
On October 19, 2019, as part of the Autumn Navigator forum, SSU signed an agreement with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to establish the Boiling Point. And since then, initiative and active students have been coming there who want to learn about the latest trends in IT, the peculiarities of entrepreneurship, as well as make their own start-up project and find like-minded people and possible employers.
In 2022, the Business Boiling Point was established in SSU, whose task is to help to develop entrepreneurial abilities of young people and build a trajectory of development in business at the regional and federal levels. Recently, its staff has organised training seminars, meetings with experts, representatives of small innovative enterprises, Saratov companies, and master classes from leading entrepreneurs and business analysts of the region.
The Boiling Point Centre actively cooperates with the SSU Business Incubator, which specialises in federal programmes to develop entrepreneurial initiatives and competencies for young people.
In addition, at the SSU Boiling Point students have the opportunity to present graduation projects performed under the Start-Up as a Diploma programme. This year, eight student teams used an alternative way of graduation, who presented their unique start-up projects.
At the Boiling Point, leisure activities are also held, for example, gamification aimed at developing intelligence in an exciting way.
It should be noted that last year Head of the SSU Boiling Point Centre Andrei Rytik received the Boiling Point Network award in the Initiator of Network Clubs and Projects nomination.
In 2023, more than 400 events have been held there, which have been attended by 13,244 people.
The university Boiling Point is confidently developing, attracting the attention of an increasing number of students and partners.
