Nikita Kunichkin has passed away. It happened on June 24, unexpectedly, at night, while he was sleeping.
Nikita was born on January 21, 1998. He graduated from School No. 67 in Saratov. In 2015, he entered the Saratov State University at the Faculty of Nonlinear Processes, which he successfully graduated from in 2019. After getting his bachelor's degree, he studied for a master's degree. In 2021, he entered postgraduate studies at the Department of Open Systems Physics (scientific supervisor – Prof. Aleksei Koronovskii).
Nikita Kunichkin took an active part in the life of the Faculty of Nonlinear Processes, later – the Institute of Physics, as well as in the life of the university. In the summer, he worked as a counsellor in Chardym in 2017, in 2018 – as a lifeguard. He was a member of the organising committee of the Chaos international school-conference and the Nonlinear Days in Saratov for Youth school in 2019.
Since 2019, Nikita has worked at the Volga Region Centre for New Information Technologies, later at the Office of Digital and Information Technologies: first as a technician, then as a programmer.
Many people knew Nikita Kunichkin at the university: he participated in the numerous events that he supported as a programmer, in Chardym, and in the Institute of Physics. Sociable, intelligent, bright, Nikita Kunichkin will remain in memory as a wonderful representative of university youth.
We express our condolences to Nikita's mother, his relatives, and friends.
The prayer service to Nikita Kunichkin will take place on June 26 at 1 p.m. at 32 Moscow Highway, (the funeral office).
