On March 24, as part of the 10th Research-to-Education Festival entitled The Week of Pedagogical Education, there started the Instensive PRO School of the Enrollees-Teachers at the site of the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical, and Special Needs Education. The event opened with the Hymn to Cyril and Methodius performed by the Harmony SSU band.

The head of priority projects and programs, Elena Yelina, addressed the participants of the school of the applicant-teacher with a welcoming speech. Elena Genrikhovna told the students about the role of SSU in the training of teachers: "Our university is included in a large and significant, relevant state program "Priority 2030". But only we are implementing a project dedicated to school, teaching and students. There is the Pedagogical Classroom at Saratov University, whose students are present here. Last year, out of 108 eleventh graders who studied in our class, 98 enrolled in SSU. Therefore, our Pedclass continues its successful work. We hope to see you among our applicants and future teachers."

Acquaintance with the university continued by watching a video about the history of SSU, its development and modern achievements. The video was prepared by the SSU Film Studio.

After the opening, a briefing lecture "Psychology of adolescent subculture" began, which was conducted by Chair of the Department of Social Psychology of Education and Development Rail Shamionov. Rail Munirovich touched upon the role of youth subculture in the regulation of adolescent behavior. He gave examples of modern teenage vocabulary, folklore, typical sayings and "teasers". High school students learned the psychological meanings of using elements of subculture in everyday life and their impact on the status of a person.

During the three days of the School, future teachers and applicants of SSU are waiting for various master classes, workshops, quizzes and lectures. All participants are divided into groups that visit interactive platforms, get acquainted with the university and the future profession.

Today, the School's students attended the master class "Shadow Theater in Literary Education", organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Primary Language and Literary Education E.V. Stepanova. The purpose of the master class is to form an interest in literature through theatrical activities. High school students learned about the history of the shadow theater and the peculiarities of the staging of a literary work, immersed themselves in the atmosphere of an art workshop and created silhouettes for their own mini-performance based on V.G. Suteev's fairy tale "Chicken and Duckling".

Associate Professor of the Department of Speech Therapy and Psycholinguistics Tanzilya Rudzinskaya organized a training workshop "Time to act!". Over a cup of tea, high school students got acquainted with the main directions of extracurricular activities of the university: volunteering, sports sections, scientific projects and creativity. Students of the school solved tasks with elements of psychohymnastics aimed at developing communicative competencies, leadership qualities, analytical abilities, the ability to set goals and plan their achievement.

At the intellectual quiz "Discovery of pedagogical treasures", applicants recalled interesting facts, events and ideas related to pedagogy. The quiz was organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Education Methodology Marina Burmistrova.

On the weekend, the classes of the School of the applicant-teacher will continue. Students are waiting for new master classes, a competition game, communication training, an educational journey and lectures.
