The winter exams are coming to an end, many students have already passed all the exams, or there are still very few of them left. And the events dedicated to the Day of Russian Students will pleasantly embrace this period. On January 24 and 25, there will be held competitions, master classes, events, concerts, and interesting meetings at SSU.
The SSU Sports Club invites everyone to a football match between the teams of SSU professors and students of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training. The game will take place on January 24 at 4 p.m. in the sports hall of SSU Bldg. XV. The captain of the team of teachers is Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Igor Malinskii, and Kirill Ermakov, a master student of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training, was appointed the captain of the student team.

At 8:00 a.m., a solemn service will begin in the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius Equal to the Apostles.
From 11.30 to 12.00 a.m. in the hall of Bldg. XI of the university there will be a Big Break creative event prepared by the SSU Student Club.
At 12.00 a.m. at the SSU Ski Resort (5th Dachanaya str., Station 1) a Ski Walk sports event will take place. If you want to work out, you will be able to get all the necessary equipment there. Three tracks are prepared for skiers: 1 km, 3.5 km, and 7 km. The SSU Sports Club invites the university professors, staff, and students to boast energy and have a good mood at a winter skiing walk.
In SSU Bldg. VIII, a meeting of researchers and students with schoolchildren and activists of the Big Break project will take place. The guests will be shown unique equipment – the devices and the Pirogov unique anatomical table. The equipment is a modern interactive table, the touch panels of which work using infrared technology – movements are recognised even before touching the screen. The interface allows you to operate with 2 000 models, which are grouped into more than 10 layers. Such equipment is ideal for teaching students and doctors in most natural science disciplines.
The SSU Council of Undergraduates and Postgraduates has prepared a new photo zone for the Student Day. It will be possible to make interesting shots for yourself throughout the day at the College of Radioelectronics in the Room 229 b.
The Faculty of Sociology, SSU, has already launched an online raffle. Together with the Loft time café has prepared a nice competition in which 15 certificates are awarded for 100 minutes in the cafe. Each winner will be able to spend time in this cosy place: play gaming console or watch a movie with friends. You can find the details can be found on the faculty page on VKontakte. The results will be summed up on January 25 at 7.00 p.m.
The College of Radioelectronics also launched a Students Live Happily from Exam Time to the Next Exam Time contest in its group on the VKontakte social network, There is also a presentation competition titled the Famous People in Their Student Years. To participate in it, you need to make a short presentation about the youth of any famous person (it can be an idol of a participant, a popular actor, singer, businessman, and so on). The work evaluates the text, design, and compliance with the topic. The authors of the best presentations will receive prizes. Here you need to create a meme related to students.
In addition, on January 25, special events will be held in the educational departments of the university. Follow the interactive games, quizzes, and raffles on the social networks of SSU departments and on the official accounts of Saratov University: VKontakte, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Twitter, Youtube, Tik-Tok, and Odnoklassniki.
