Dudov, S.I. (born August 6, 1949 in Volsk) graduated Saratov State University, Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics in 1971. In 1971-1973 he worked as an engineer and junior research fellow at SSU Computation Center. In 1973-1976 he did graduate studies in computational mathematics under the supervision of Prof. A.P. Khromov. In 1979-1987 Dudov, S.I. worked as a junior and then senior research fellow at SSU Computation Center cooperating with radio technical equipment designers. He chose minimax problems of a specific type and some problems of ensemble estimation using simple geometric structure ensembles.
In 1988-1997 Dudov, S.I. worked as an Associate professor of the Department of Differential Equations and Applied Mathematics. He delivered a course in Optimization Methods and special courses in Minimax Theory, Nonsmooth Analysis Basics, Extremum Conditions Generation Methods, Problems of Parameter Optimization of Designed Devices Using Value-Quality Criteria. He also continued to study arguments difference function maximin problems.
Since 1998 Dudov, S.I. has been a Chair of the Department of Mathematic Economics. His research interests mainly concern nonsmooth analysis and nondifferential optimization and using mathematic methods in economics.
