Статья посвящена влиянию лоббистских группировок на американо-турецкие отношения в конце 1990-х гг. особое внимание уделено противостоянию армянского и греческого лобби, с одной стороны, и администрации президента клинтона и военного лобби, с другой стороны, за право определять американскую внешнюю политику в отношении турции.
The article is devoted to the influence of the lobby groups on the U. S. – Turkish relations in the end of the 1990s. The special attention is paid to the confrontation between the Armenian and Greek lobbies on the one hand and the Clinton administration and military lobby on the other hand for the right to determine direction of the American foreign policy toward Turkey
