Today, Governor of Saratov Region Roman Busargin has met with the winners of the Stolypin Youth Award. On the eve of Youth Day, ten people were awarded with the badge of merit in various fields, including Associate Professor of the Department of Dynamic Modelling and Biomedical Engineering, SSU, Yurii Ishbulatov and a student of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training, SSU, Andrei Zhivayev.
In his welcoming speech, the head of the region Roman Busargin proposed next year to think over new nominations and expand their number. ‘Our life is multifaceted, and there are many more worthy young people who have shown themselves in various directions. We appreciate everything you have achieved. This is not just your personal results, it is a real contribution to the development of the region. There are talented, purposeful, devoted youth in Saratov Region.’
Associate Professor of the Department of Dynamic Modelling and Biomedical Engineering, SSU, Yurii Ishbulatov was awarded for outstanding achievements in science.
Yurii Ishbulatov is Candidate of Physics and Mathematics. He is the author of more than 100 publications, 30 of which have been published in international journals. Yurii Ishbulatov has 20 certificates of official registration of computer programmes. His research was carried out with the support of the Priority 2030 programme. Thanks to the programme, the university equipped the Digital Integrative Bioengineering Systems interfaculty technological fablab education-to-research laboratory.
During the conversation with the Governor, Yurii Ishbulatov thanked the regional government for recognising his scientific achievements. ‘The commission considered me worthy of the award for the development of diagnostic methods and control therapy of socially significant diseases, mainly hypertension. One of the next stages is to involve machine learning models and neural networks. The results of the research do not belong to me alone – in different years, a group of scientists has been led by Professor Boris Bezruchko and my scientific supervisor and Chair of the department Anatolii Karavayev. Due to them, I have become a person capable of doing science at a high level.’
A student of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training, SSU, Honoured Master of Sports in swimming, a hard of hearing world champion Andrei Zhivayev was awarded for outstanding achievements in physical training and sports.
Andrei Zhivayev is a member of the Russian national swimming team (deaf sports), an eight-time champion of the summer Deaflympic Games, the best athlete of adaptive sports according to the results of the national sports award.
The applicant for the Stolypin Youth Prize, Master of Sports of international class, a student of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training Philip Torishnii was awarded with a letter of appreciation from the Governor of the region.
Stolypin Youth Award is the highest mark of distinction in various spheres of social and economic life of the region. This year, it has been awarded for the 20th time.
