Dear colleagues, dear students!

I congratulate you on Spring and Labour Day!

This holiday has been dear to each of us since childhood. It is connected with the main values on which our life is based, which we pass on from generation to generation.

‘Peace! Labour! May!’ These simple words contain the formula for success. Employees of Saratov State University apply this formula. May is always in their souls, peace is in their hearts, and their hands and mind are in work. That is why the work of our scientists and teaching staff remains fruitful all year round.

Love of work, initiative and passion for their activities, focus on moving forward – these are all the qualities that teaching and other staff of SSU share with each new generation of students.

Our student activists, members of the Headquarters of SSU Student Brigades, and volunteers also learn from previous generations. Almost every one of them participates in scientific conferences, panel discussions, forums, socially important projects, in the organization of events of urban, regional, and federal significance, goes on volunteer clean-ups, and makes steps in a variety of fields. Our students and teaching staff are collecting humanitarian aid for our mobilised countrymen and their families.

Dear friends, I heartily congratulate you on the Spring and Labour Holiday – May 1. I wish you new discoveries, more opportunities for self-fulfilment, inspiration, faith in yourself and in your strength, good health, good mood, and a successful future!
