The spring Marathon of Professional Development has started at Saratov State University. Career guidance events for students are held from April 10 to April 30.

The main objective of the marathon is to help students and graduates of SSU in choosing their professional path, the opportunity to get acquainted with potential employers. The planned set of measures will contribute to increasing the competitiveness and demand of university students in the laboгr market.

A series of career guidance events will be held during the marathon. So, from April 10 to April 16, the All-Russian campaign "Week without turnstiles" will take place, and from April 17 to April 30, the "Employment Week" will be organized. In addition, a large number of excursions to various enterprises and thematic museums of the region, master classes and lectures are planned. Students will meet with potential employers – owners of large companies and enterprises in the region, recruitment specialists, successful graduates of SSU.

Participants and partners who offered their speakers this year were the IT campaign "Space App", the largest oilfield service company Schlumberger (Schlumberger), the multidisciplinary clinic "OWL", the Research and Production Center "Almaz-Phazotron", the Sergo Ordzhonikidze Electrical Appliance Plant, the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Plants and Microorganisms Of the Russian Academy of Sciences, LLC "Castorama RUS", LLC "NITA-PHARM".

The organizer of the "Marathon of Professional Development" was the SSU Regional Centre of Graduate Employment and Labour Market Adaptation, as well as institutes, faculties, colleges and student associations of Saratov University.
