On March 31, during the closing ceremony of the Week of Pedagogical Education, the winners and participants of the 19th student pedagogical skills competition "Step into the Profession" were awarded. The certificates were presented to the participants by E.E. Gorbenko, a member of the jury, director of the Institute of Physical and Mathematical Education, Information and Service Technologies of Luhansk State Pedagogical University.

The third place was taken by Marina Kostina, a 3rd–year student of the PPiSO, and her mentor, M.V. Nikitina, a teacher of the Department of Correctional Pedagogy. The award was presented by Associate Professor of the Department of Methodology of Education M.N. Burmistrova.

The second place was awarded to the 5th year student of the Institute of Physical and Mathematical Education, Information and Service Technologies of LGPU Polina Sergienko and Associate Professor of the Department of Physics and Methods of Teaching Physics of LGPU A.G. Silcheva. The winners were awarded by the head of the Department of Educational Methodology E.A. Alexandrova.

The winner was the team of IFIZH – student Sofia Bulygina and associate professor of the Department of Russian Philology and Media Education at the MOE GAL L.V. Zimin. The head of priority projects and programs of Saratov University, E.G. Elina, congratulated the winners of the 1st place and handed over the coveted award.

A special prize from Elena Genrikhovna was awarded to Artur Poghosyan, a 3rd-year student of KNIIT, and O.A. Litvinova, an associate professor of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies in Education, as well as students of Lugansk State Pedagogical University Polina Sergienko and Svetlana Polonskaya and their mentor A.G. Silcheva.

A member of the competition jury and chairman of the Trade Union Organization of SSU Students, V.V. Bannikova, presented a prize from the Trade Union Committee to Marina Kostina, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of PPiSO, and M.V. Nikitina, a teacher of the Department of Correctional Pedagogy.

Deputy Head of the Department of Social Work of SSU and organizer of the contest M.I. Kabanova shared her impressions of the last contest: "I will tell you from the jury team and organizers. It was a difficult "Step" in all respects. First of all, it was very difficult, because the contestants were in tandem with their mentors. It was an experiment, and it seems to me that it ended brilliantly. There was a very high level of lessons, there was a very interesting presentation stage of educational events and an unusual self-presentation. The university teacher saw his student in a slightly new way, and the students were able to feel the mentor's shoulder. For 19 years there has not been a single identical "Step into the profession". This year, the highlight of the competition was that our teachers-mentors dared to personally take part. I think that it was they who made this "Step into the profession". The "student and mentor" team was for the first time, and I think this experience has become successful."

The winning team told about their creative tandem at the competition.

"This is an incredible opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues from different directions. Yesterday we were in a team with chemists. It would seem that chemists and lyricists are incompatible, but an excellent result was shown. I still can't believe that the competition has ended, and we have the first place. So much work and effort has been spent! All this is thanks to my mentor – Larisa Vladimirovna," Sofia Bulygina shared her emotions.

"Sofya Andreevna is one of those teachers that they talk about: "A God-kissed man." We have been on the same wavelength since the very beginning of our studies. We felt each other with her. We have the mood to develop joint ideas. It was a joy to participate in this competition, because the lesson was not forced, but was created with inspiration," L.V. Zimina summed up the joint teamwork.
