Dear colleagues, undergraduates, and postgraduates!
Since 16 March 2020 the order was published to switch to e-learning. Thus, the classes will be delivered, the curriculums will be implemented, and the university teaching staff will pay attention to the students but no in person but via the Internet.
First of all, we will use the BARS education system, and every student and university teaching staff member has an access to it, and now we will use it every day. Also we will communicate with our students via e-mail, mobile phones, and Skype.
Our two goals are to stay healthy and keep our family members healthy and continue teach and study in the most effective way.
The university administration, the directors of its institutes, and the deans of its faculties do their best to make the education process going. During the exams we are going to give intensive courses in all the disciplines and organise extra consultations before the exams.
Dear students! Try to use the time for your self-education: watch and listen online-courses of our colleagues from other Russian universities, use the Internet to improve your foreign language skills, and read good books!
I hope that the SSU staff will show grit, prove their self-discipline, and adapt to the situation. We will definitely cope with the problem if we wash hands more often, take care more of ourselves, attend events seldom, and in time help old people who are highly affected by the disease.
Stay healthy!
Sincerely yours,
Aleksei Chumachenko
