For the sixth time Saratov University has become the winner of the contest of student unions development programs at the hihger education organizations with its program "UNIVERandME: Future Is in Our Hands (student government contribution to the development of Saratov University)".

 

Among the winners were 193 higher education organizations (out of 208 applicants) subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

 

For the last year thousands of SSU students received the program funding for participation and organization of regional and All-Russian scientific, sport, educational, creative and media events.

 

Among the events held in SSU under the program are In Motion dance project, PRO100 educational forum, MediaVolga contest, KOMpas tourist project and The Friendship Cup football tournament.

 

UNIVERandME program let talanted students to take part in some large-scale contests, educational programs and training courses. SSU studetns have successfully represented the university at the youth forum in Nizhny Novgorod, Student Solidarity interregional conference and All-Russian pedagogical marathon. SSU footbal players have also become vice-champions at NSFL competitions.

 

So far five large-scale  projects promoted by SSU have been supported, that focus on the All-Russian events planned to be held in Saratov Region.
