Although summer holidays are upon us Saratov State University is busy continuing its admissions campaign. Institutes and faculties Admissions Committees are working. Applicants could learn about how to apply, necessary documents and deadline here.

Some admissions campaigns have already finished. Applicants for full time and intra-extramural form of study on bachelor and specialist degree programs have passed creative and professional competitions to enter Institute of Philology and Journalism, Institute of Arts, Institute of Sports and Physical Training, and Faculty of Pedagogical and Special Needs Education.

University examinations are held on July, 13-21. Deadline for those who passed Unified State Exams is July, 24.

Application deadlines for bachelor and specialist programs (part-time) are: August, 6 - for programs that require creative or professional competitions; August, 8 – for applicants who will take university examinations; August, 16 – for applicants who have taken Unified State Exam.

Applications for master programs are open till August, 10.

Applications for commercial study are open till September, 19. Deadline for graduate studies applications is July, 31.

According to the Central Admissions Committee, on July 14 there are 19694 applications for full-time studies including 9578 for bachelor programs, 507 – specialist programs, 548 – master studies and 61 – graduate studies. There are 4571 applications for full-time commercial study.

The University has received 273 applications for intra-extramural form of study.

In 2015-2016, over 3000 applicants will enter the university on state-funded programs. 2621 people will be in full-time studies; among them are 98 specialist students, 1897 bachelor students, and 626 master students. 733 people will be in part-time studies: 40 specialist students, 543 bachelor students, and 150 master students.

SSU has introduced seven new Master programs. SSU will train specialist in four areas.

The required documents are: application, certificate of (full) secondary education (original or copy), three copies of Passport/ID, State Exam results. Upon enrollment, applicants should submit original certificate of (full) secondary education, 6 photos 3х4 см, medical certificate 086-y, registration certificate, and copy of health insurance.

Those applying for graduate studies have to submit their ID, certificate of specialist or master degree, 2 photos and a list of published scientific works or inventions or a report on chosen field of study.

Documents should be submitted to faculty or institute admissions committee. Central Admissions Committee is at room 100B, Bldg. IX. Admissions committees work from 10:00 to 14:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays. For information call 51-92-26, 26-03-04.
