To enter SSU Preparatory Department I need:

Application Period:
 
- the documents can be applied by foreign citizens on pre-university studying programs on the period of 10 months from February, 1 to November, 1 of the present year.
 
Pre-university studying programs: 
– Additional comprehensive program which provides training of foreign citizens and individuals without citizenship for studying within Russian professional educational programs (1228 hours). Duration: September of a current year – June of the next year / November of a current year – August of the next year.
Fields of studies: 
– Humanities (history, social studies, literature);
– Economics (history, social studies, mathematics);
– Medicine and Biology (biology, chemistry, physics);
– Natural Science (mathematics, physics, chemistry);
– Engineering and technology (mathematics, physics, computer science).
 
– The Russian language course within the additional comprehensive program which provides training of foreign citizens and individuals without citizenship for studying Russian professional educational programs (760 hours). Duration: January - August of a current year.
 
- the documents can be applied by foreign citizens on pre-university studying programs on the period of 1,5 year from October,1 to March, 1 of the present year;
 
- submission of documents for language courses (Russian as a Foreign Language) is available all year round. Duration of study and the academic workload are negotiated individually.
 
Applicants who require visa should send to ied@sgu.ru the following documents in order to obtain the SSU invitation:
 
1. Completed application form;
 
2. Scan of a national passport (pages with a photo and personal details);
 
3. Scan of an education certificate with its transcript.
 
It takes not less than 45 days to prepare the invitation, the state tax for its issuance is paid by the University.
The invitation is sent to the email stated in the application form. You should print out the invitation and apply to the Russian Embassy or Consulate in your country in order to get visa.
