From November to December 2023, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has monitored the effectiveness of youth policy and academic affairs in universities. The study involved 590 educational institutions of the country and 4,086,308 students. In the overall ranking, Saratov State University took 9th place with a score of 75 points.
The rating included five sections of the study: staffing, involvement in the ecosystem of youth policy, activities to support youth initiatives, work with target partners, and the development of the infrastructure of public associations.
The university scored the highest number of points in terms of involvement in the ecosystem of youth policy (39), which includes the participation of university representatives in the Rosmolodezh forums, the implementation of activities corresponding to key areas of youth policy, and the participation of students in the work of the Your Turn platform.
SSU received 23 points in the Infrastructure Development of Public Associations direction. This includes participation in projects and competitions, adaptation programmes for students, and the implementation of priority areas of youth policy.
