On March 16, a gala-concert of the 2023 Student Spring contest was held at SSU. The brightest performances of the season were presented on the stage of Bldg. 10. The names of prize-winners in all nominations were announced, Grand-Prix were awarded in the sections, the owners of which automatically become participants of the 2023 Saratov Student Spring. The main intrigue of the evening was the victory in the overall scoring of the University Student Spring. It was won by the Institute of Philology and Journalism. The first place was taken by the Faculty of Law, the second – by the Institute of Physics, and the third – by the Faculty of Sociology.

The gala-concert was opened by a bright and dynamic performance from the SofKom Fashion Theatre (the Institute of Physics), which set the mood of the evening and warmed up the audience for the upcoming show.

Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Organisational Work Anton Golovchenko welcomed the participants and viewers of the event. ‘Today, we are summing up the results of the most important creative event of 2023 – the Student Spring of Saratov University. The Student Club and I were very worried about the contest changes, but it has turned out to be very viable. More than 500 students from all academic departments have showed their talents in various genres.’ The vice-rector reminded that students would have to defend the honour of the university at the regional stage and wished good luck to all participants.

The show was continued by the actors of the Paribashte theatre-studio with the performance item entitled The Fool Was a Thief. It was a story about a clown who stole sad moments from his audience. Then, the hosts of the festive concert Giordano (Vlad Kovalenko) and Bruno (Nikita Krivosheyev) appeared on the stage – guests from sunny Italy who defined the rules of a good concert.

The first requirement announced by the “Italians” was good performances. The second rule Giordano and Bruno called a good main presenter, which confused the artistic director of the Student Club Mikhail Vinogradov. The third rule of a good concert was love. Another important component was a cosy atmosphere like at home. The hosts compared Rome and the Student Club. A good award was also included into the list of the rules. The concert programme met all the requirements presented.

The final programme of the University Student Spring included a dancing performance by Elizaveta Tyabina (the Faculty of Biology), a vocal composition by the Trio of the Faculty of Law (head – Evgenia Alyokhina), and a choreographic performance by the famous group entitled ArT-mix. Vitalii Ageyenkov (the Institute of Philology and Journalism) took to the stage with A. Vertinsky's poem Kokainetka with music playing at the background. Ilya Yesin (the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technologies) and Anna Chernysheva (the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical, and Special Needs Education) diversified the concert with folk dance, as well as the Holiday folk band sang the Tanyusha. The audience enjoyed how Alexander Vaitsul, Alexander Zhumagaliyev, and Alina Mirzoyan sang, as well as Daria Bobresheva, the INCREW, and Look at Them danced. At the end of the show, the VIA Cool K!DS performed for the audience.
