Dear ladies!
Spring comes in its full force; its main symbol is women’s holiday – 8th of March! On this day you will get lots of kind words from men, friends and colleagues. These congratulations and wishes are always supported by our gratitude for the care you take of us, men.
Saratov University values women’s work greatly. Who but you does the most responsible, most difficult tasks concerning education al work? Who but you lead scientific groups, supervise grant projects? Who but you make our everyday work comfortable?
University history knows lots of women – famous scientists, teachers who brought glory to Saratov University. Probably, the first outstanding woman from SSU that everyone remembers is Vera Aleksandrovna Artisevich – a true leader, persevering and determined character. During war time she governed the University, after the war she achieved the construction of a new university library building.
We seldom acknowledge that but we consider a real heroic deed you loyalty and honesty, professionalism and tactfulness, strength and wisdom. Every day you meet us with a smile and support our initiatives, you make us believe in ourselves and give us a chance to show our best qualities.
