Regional Youth Education Forum “Pro100” took place at SSU camp Chardym on August, 16-22. It was organized by Udergraduate and Gaduate Sudents Council together with Office of Student Educational Work as part of “Univeria” project.
On the last sixth day, students had several interesting meetings. Among their guests were Deputy Minister of youth policy, sport and tourism A.V. Belovitskaia, Head of Office of Student Educational Work A.V. Golovchenko, and Saratov Drama theatre actor Aleksandr Kasparov. They participated in round table meetings concerning youth policy in Saratov Region, cooperation between youth organizations and government bodies. A.V. Belovitskaia said the Ministry of youth policy, sport and tourism works hard to support student initiatives and creative and sport events like KVN, Student Spring festival, etc. she also told about P.A. Stolypin scholarship for talented young people and how to get it.
A.V. Golovchenko highlighted the fact that Saratov State University works closely with the Ministry and implement lots of projects together. He wished the participants success at work and to grow their energy and creativity.
Aleksandr Kasparov talked about his work at the Drama theatre. Students asked him a lot of questions. The guest shared some secrets of theatre life and gave advice on how to develop the acting talent.
In the afternoon, everyone gathered in the club where student worked on their own project,. Georgy Bolotov presented 10 focus area of Pro GROUP: Media, PR, Sport, Polyglot, University Faces, Art, Volunteer, Always Prepared, Clubs. He introduced their heads and explained their functions. Student chose the most interesting areas for themselves and developed their working plans for 2016. they had one hour to complete this task.
Then each group presented their project: its name, goals and tasks, probable risks, ways to attract partners and sponsors, ways to motivate student participation. The projects were mostly educational and entertaining. According to Georgy Bolotov, the Project Conveyor was a success. Each group came up with interesting, original ideas that could be implemented.
The results were announced on Saturday morning. Polyglot group came up with the best idea of making theme posters; Volunteer School (Volunteers) and Ice sculptures (Art) shared the second place; PR-school (PR), Beauty Academy (University faces), Snow trash (Always Prepared) and media projects by Media group came third.
