This is the third year Saratov State University wins the competition of student units work development programs in Russian universities. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science. SSU presents its project “Univeria: the future depends on you (student self-governance development in SSU)”.

The competition aims at developing the system of student self-governance and increasing the students’ role in education modernization.

Total of 214 applications were received; among which the competition committee has chosen 126 best ones. The projects were evaluated by representatives of Ministry of Education and Science departments, federal committees and university community.

The winners get financial aid from the federal budget to help development of student self-governance system in 2015.

“Univeria” project realization will help attracting students to participate in educational, scientific and innovative work, developing socio-cultural environment encouraging creativity, promotion of spiritual, cultural, scientific values and traditions.
