On May 23, Saratov IEEE Chapter held its biannual Workshop “Electromagnetics of Microwaves, Terahertz and Optical Waves” hosted by Faculty of Electron Devices and Instrument Making, Saratov State Technical University. At the beginning of the Workshop, the report on 2013 Chapter activities was presented by Past Chapter Chair Prof. N.M. Ryskin. The Workshop technical program included 7 talks. 18 IEEE Members and 7 guests attended the Workshop. After the workshop, a reception for IEEE members and guests was hold. The Workshop was very helpful for popularization of IEEE and recruiting of new members.
