Chapter Workshop “Electromagnetics of Microwaves, Terahertz and Optical Waves”

On October 5, Saratov IEEE Chapter held its traditional Workshop “Electromagnetics of Microwaves, Terahertz and Optical Waves” in Saratov State University. 17 IEEE Members and 5 guests attended the Workshop. At the beginning of the Workshop, the 2012 Activity report was presented by Chapter Chair Prof. N.M. Ryskin. After the report, we discussed current activities and future plans of the Chapter.

During the Workshop we celebrated the 2012 IEEE Day “Engineering the Future and Beyond”. After the workshop, a reception for IEEE members and guests was held. The Workshop was very helpful for popularization of IEEE and recruiting of new members.
