Annual Microwave Theory and Technique Society Region 8 (Africa, Europe, Middle East) Chapter Chair Meeting has been held on October 29 in Amsterdam during the 2012 European Microwave Week. More then 30 local IEEE chapters sent their representatives. Two members of the AP/CPMT/ED/MTT/NPS Saratov Chapter, Svetlana E. Sheshukova and Alexander V. Sadovnikov, attended the meeting. Main activities of the local chapters as well as interaction with MTT Society and R8 administration were discussed.

• Rights and duties of chapters by Mike Golio (MTT-S MGA administrator)
• Best and worst practices
