On October 24, Saratov IEEE Chapter held its biannual Workshop “Electromagnetics of Microwaves, Terahertz and Optical Waves” hosted by Faculty of Nonlinear Processes, Saratov State University. At the beginning of the Workshop, Chapter Secretary, Dr. Alexander V. Sadovnikov gave an overview of 2014 MTT-S Chapter Chairs Meeting in Rome. Chapter activity report was presented by Chapter Chair, Dr. M.D. Prokhorov.

The Workshop technical program included 6 talks. 11 IEEE Members and 5 guests attended the Workshop. After the workshop, a reception for IEEE members and guests was hold. The Workshop was very helpful for popularization of IEEE and recruiting of new members.
