Mavrin, C.A. worked at Bagaevsky oilfield near Saratov, then at SSU Research Institute of Geology. In 1974 he started teaching at Saratov University faculty of Geology and continued his research of the Cis-Ural region.

Biography:

Mavrin, Constantine Alekseevich (born 1934) graduate SSU faculty of Geology in 1957. He worked at Bagaevsky oilfield near Saratov, then at SSU Research Institute of Geology. In 1974 he started teaching at Saratov University faculty of Geology. He also continued his research of the Cis-Ural region part-time.

Main Publications:

Prof. Mavrin is the author of over 80 scientific works including the monographic book “Tectonics, paleohydrogeology and minerals of the South Cis-Ural region” published in 1988.

Additional information:

Prof. Mavrin teaches special courses on Waters in oil and gas fields, Paleohydrogeological method in oil and gas geology, History and methodology of geological science, and Hydrogeology of mineral deposits. He is a member of dissertation committee D212.243.08 and supervises PhD and doctoral thesis.
