The Student Russia 9th All-Russian Forum was held in Moscow from December 12 to 14. There have gathered the chairs of student councils, their deputies, and finalists of the All-Russian competition of best practices in organising the work of student councils of all Russian universities. The event involved 300 participants from 254 educational organisations from 62 Russian regions.

For three days, an extensive discussion and educational block worked on the site, within which participants were able to communicate with the coaches of the RSM Coaches Association and determine for themselves the ways of further development of student councils.

For the finalists of the All-Russian Competition of best Practices in organising the work of university student councils, final tests were held in 11 nominations, which were evaluated by 43 experts.

At the forum, Saratov University was represented by activists of the Council of Undergraduates and Postgraduates, SSU, Anastasia Dankovtseva (the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Language Teaching Methods), Anna Chulkova (the Institute of Philology and Journalism) and Ekaterina Osadchaya (the Faculty of Law) with the practice of working in the Media direction. SSU was awarded the victory in the Best practice of information openness of the student council nomination. The winners received memorable prizes, forum gift products and a certificate for 30 thousand roubles.

Student Russia is a place where hundreds of representatives of student councils from all over Russia are concentrated. It's an amazingly rewarding experience where everyone can show off their skills and get feedback from the experts and speakers of the event. I have a lot of information that I can tell my team, I'm looking forward to coming and sharing it!’ Anna Chulkova said.

In the Best organisation of the work of the student council of the educational structural unit nomination, the student council of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Language Teaching Methods with the practice of Language Solyanka became the winner of the III degree.

The organisers of the Student Russia forum and the All-Russian competition of best practices in organising the work of student councils of educational organisations of higher education were the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Youth All-Russian Public Organisation, and the Moscow Polytechnic University Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education.
